Recent updates to Microsoft’s browser, Internet Explorer, has broken a lot of web sites that a lot of people use; unfortunately, IE11 has also broken PCSDesk’s mail server.
If you are using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome you have nothing to worry about, but if you are an Internet Explorer user and your operating system is Windows Vista or higher, chances are that your system was automatically updated to Internet Explorer 11 and using the PCSDesk SmarterMail interface has become a chore. The good news is that there is an easy fix for this, and here it is..
\ Open Internet Explorer and go to the PCSDesk SmarterMail site at http://mail.phoenix-now.com:9998
\ When at the login screen, select the gear icon at the top-right of Internet Explorer and select “Compatibility View settings” option
\ Select the “Add” button and select select Close when done
